Embark on a two-day journey through Morocco’s breathtaking landscapes — from the majestic High Atlas Mountains to the golden dunes of the Zagora Desert. Discover ancient kasbahs, lush oases, and experience authentic desert life under the stars.

Your adventure begins at 8:00 AM with departure from Marrakech in a private, air-conditioned vehicle accompanied by a professional English-speaking driver.
The first stop will be at Aït Barka, where you can relax and enjoy a coffee break (optional).
You’ll then continue the scenic drive through the Tizi N’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for panoramic photos and a brief explanation of the local mountain terrain.
Around midday, you’ll arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Enjoy a lunch break followed by a visit to the famous film studios, where many international movies have been filmed.
Afterward, the journey continues towards the Zagora Desert. Upon arrival, you’ll ride camels through the dunes toward a traditional desert camp.
As the sun sets, enjoy a magical moment capturing sunset photos before settling into the camp. The evening includes a traditional Moroccan dinner followed by live Berber music under the stars, creating a truly unforgettable desert experience.

Wake up early to witness a beautiful desert sunrise, then enjoy breakfast at the camp.
The return journey begins with a scenic drive through the Alkhair Oasis, known for its serene palm groves and picturesque views.
Back in Ouarzazate, you'll visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah, then continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Ben Haddou — a stunning fortified village with centuries of history and cinematic fame.
After exploring the site, enjoy a lunch stop, then begin the drive back through the mountains toward Marrakech, arriving by early evening.
The drive from Marrakech to Zagora takes approximately 6 to 7 hours each way, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Since this is a private trip, you have the flexibility to stop whenever you like for photos, breaks, or to admire the scenery. Key stops typically include the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, the panoramic views of the Draa Valley, and the film studios in Ouarzazate.
Accommodation is provided in a private Berber tent within a desert camp. Most private tours offer a choice between a standard camp (with shared bathroom facilities) and a luxury camp (with private en-suite showers and toilets inside the tent). Both options include comfortable bedding, a traditional dinner under the stars, and a campfire experience with local music. It is recommended to check the specific camp option selected at booking to ensure it meets your comfort preferences.
