Discover the magic of Morocco without the burnout. We have crafted this exclusive 5-day itinerary for the traveler who wants to see the icons—the Atlas Mountains, the Kasbahs, and the Sahara—but refuses to rush through them.

We believe the journey matters as much as the destination. That’s why we’ve combined the thrill of a 4×4 desert expedition with the luxury of time.

Why this tour is different:

  • Customizable Adventure: On Day 2, you choose your backdrop—green mountain valleys or the moon-like dunes of Agafay.

  • History Comes Alive: Stand before the clay giants of Ouarzazate and sleep under a blanket of stars in a Zagora desert camp.

  • The « Soft Landing »: While other travelers rush home, you’ll spend your final day indulging in a Royal Hammam & Massage session, ensuring you return home glowing, not groggy.

Experience the authentic warmth of Berber hospitality, the thrill of the open road, and the peace of a well-paced journey.

Highlights

  • Explore the ancient Medina and Souks of Marrakech.
  • Customize your mountain experience: Ourika, Imlil, or Agafay.
  • Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
  • Ride camels at sunset and sleep in the Zagora Desert.

Tour's Location

What is the difference between Zagora and Merzouga, and why choose Zagora?

Zagora is the closest desert to Marrakech (approx. 6–7 hours drive), making it the perfect choice for a relaxed 5-day trip. While Merzouga offers massive dunes, it requires a tiring 10-hour drive each way. Zagora offers a beautiful, authentic desert experience with smaller dunes and rocky landscapes, allowing you to spend less time in the car and more time enjoying the sunset and starry sky.

Is there a lot of driving involved in this tour?

We have designed this itinerary to be as balanced as possible. Days 3 and 4 involve crossing the High Atlas Mountains to reach the desert, which is a scenic drive of about 6 hours each way. However, Days 1, 2, and 5 focus on shorter trips and relaxation. Unlike standard tours that rush the desert in 2 days, our schedule allows for plenty of stops to stretch your legs, take photos, and eat lunch.

What happens during the "Hammam & Relax" day?

This is a unique feature of our tour designed to help you recover after the desert trip. You will visit a premium local spa for a traditional Moroccan Hammam experience. This includes a steam bath, a black soap body scrub (gommage) to exfoliate the skin, and a relaxing massage. It’s the perfect way to wash off the desert dust and feel rejuvenated before your flight home.

A once in a lifetime trip with 10 star service from Jamal

We had the most amazing 2 night trip to the Merzouga dessert with Jamal. The service was truly first class, and Jamal went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after.Jamal was friendly, caring, professional, and very informative, giving us a lot of local knowledge about the people, culture and history of the places we visited. The Merzouga dessert is truly a once in a lifetime experience, and Jamal really made it much more authentic, special and memorable!
